Omiya Bonsai is one of the highest brand of bonsai and there are 6 bonsai gardens in Omiya Bonsai village,
in addition, there is the first public bonsai art museum in the world "The Omiya Bonsai Art Museum, Saitama".
Opened in 2010, the Omiya Bonsai Art Museum is the world’s first publicly museum dedicated to bonsai art. The Omiya Bonsai Museum allows visitors to experience the delicacy of bonsai masterpieces along with a collection of bonsai-related artifacts, such as bonsai-pots, miniature landscape stones, bonsai-related woodblock prints, and much more. For each of the four seasons, about 50 selected pots of bonsai are always on display in the garden and gallery.
The bonsai event held domestically is a bonsai exhibition that gathered the masterpieces in general. The overseas bonsai event is not a bonsai exhibition, but bonsai lovers are gathered together to deepen exchange, and the teacher invited from Japan holds bonsai seminars mainly. The bonsai convention gradually expanded to the world, and finally, in 1989, the 1st World Bonsai Convention was held in Omiya, the hometown of bonsai. More than 1,200 bonsai enthusiasts participated in the bonsai convention and succeeded as the largest bonsai event ever. Later, the World Bonsai Convention is held every four years, and handed down to the USA, Korea, Germany, Puerto Rico, China and the 8th World Bonsai Convention comes back to Omiya, Saitama in April,2017.
After the renovation of the guest rooms and lobby in 2012, graphic art with a motif of bonsai is displayed in each guest room with "Nature" and "Japanese style" as a motif. In the lobby, Bonsai of the Bonsai Garden "Seikoen" in Omiya Bonsai village is exhibited changing on a weekly basis and appeals “Bonsai town Omiya”.
